In English language, there are two types of articles:
1. Indefinite article : a and an
2. Definite article : the
Examples:
1. a book, a pen, an umbrella, an apple, ...
2. the book, the books, the pen, the pens,...
From the above examples, we know that the use of indefinite article is to singular noun, while definite article (the) is to singular and plural noun. Study more examples !
1. Kanza suggests Aurilia not to write with a pen .
2. The beautiful sister suggests me to take an umbrella.
3. He offers the book which is on the table.
4. They offer us the books which are on the table.
